Paying for College
Get a head start on paying for college by filing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Filing a FAFSA is the easiest way to determine what state and federal student aid you may qualify for, and all you have to do is:
- Gather your tax information from the last year for easy reference
- Register for a studentaid.gov account, or sign in to your existing one
- Navigate to the FAFSA Application page
- Follow the instructions on the screen to file for the upcoming school year
- Double check that you are sending your information to the correct school - up to a maximum of 20 schools
- Wait to receive your FAFSA Submission Summary, make any necessary corrections, and submit
- Start looking into the application and eligibility requirements for student financial aid opportunities - like the Fast Track Workforce Incentive Grant
