Media Advisory: Capital City Job Center Ribbon Cutting, Friday, September 18, 2020

(Jefferson City, MO) — The Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development (MDHEWD) and the Office Workforce Development is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand reopening of the Capital City Job Center in Jefferson City. After suffering significant tornado damage on May 23, 2019, the Capital City Job Center has been fully restored and is the final center in Missouri to reopen with in-person services since the statewide closures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Commissioner of Higher Education Zora Mulligan and Jefferson City Mayor Carrie Tergin will join local workforce development professionals on Friday, to celebrate the much-anticipated reopening.
