Wellspring School of Allied Health (Kansas City and Springfield campuses) closed unexpectedly on June 03, 2026. We recognize how challenging and unsettling this situation has been for both students and staff. Please know that The Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development (MDHEWD) is committed to supporting those impacted by the closure through the next steps.
MDHEWD has requested information from Wellspring Resources, Inc. (the corporate office) and working alongside the Missouri Board of Therapeutic Massage. Our goal is to gather the details needed to outline your options, including:
- Who will manage student records and how to request your official transcripts
- How you may be able to complete your program elsewhere
Immediate Action Steps for You
While we continue gathering information, please take the following steps to protect your records:
- Download your records immediately. If you still have access to the Wellspring student portal, log in as soon as possible and download your unofficial transcripts, financial ledgers/receipts, prior 1098 tax forms, and any grade or course confirmations. Once the portal closes, obtaining these documents will be much more difficult.
- Keep your contact information up to date. If your mailing address, email, or phone number changes, please notify us right away so you continue receiving updates. You can reach us at propcompliance@dhewd.mo.gov.
