Wellspring School of Allied Health (Kansas City and Springfield campuses) closed unexpectedly on June 03, 2026.
Students who were enrolled and were unable to complete their program may be eligible to submit a claim for financial loss. The Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development (MDHEWD) will notify students who may qualify to being the claims process.
Please note that receiving a notification does not guarantee reimbursement; it simply indicates that you may be eligible to file a claim.
To be eligible to file a claim:
- The student did not complete their program at the Wellspring School of Allied Health or another institution
- Funds paid using federal grants are not eligible for reimbursement
- Costs paid with federal student loans may be eligible if the loans have not been forgiven due to the school's closure
- All claims must include supporting documentation
Please contact MDHEWD at propcompliance@dhewd.mo.gov for additional information or assistance.
If you were a student at the Wellspring School of Allied Health, you can request a copy of your transcript through MDHEWD.
