- Report on English language proficiency teaching assistants
- Report to joint committee on education
- Establish state- and institutional performance measures
- Approve courses delivered out-of-district by community colleges
- Conduct binding dispute resolutions between and among institutions
- Administer Studies in Energy Conservation Fund with Department of Natural Resources
- Coordinate reciprocal agreements among institutions
- Determine student residence status
