Media Advisory: Apprenticeship Missouri Summit set for Nov. 12

(COLUMBIA, MO)—In celebration of National Apprenticeship Week, the Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development will host the second annual Apprenticeship Missouri Summit in Columbia on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019. The Summit will feature special remarks from Governor Mike Parson.

The Summit will also include presentations and panels, recognitions, networking opportunities, and the release of the Apprenticeship Missouri Playbook.  

 

Tuesday, Nov. 12

8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

*All events are open to the media.

Summit includes:

8:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

  • Panel discussions and presentations

 

12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.

  • Governor’s presentation and awards ceremony

 

1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.

  • A national perspective with New America and the future of Apprenticeship Missouri
