Return Strong Virtual Job Fairs to be held May 4, 18

Date

More than 230 employers are set to participate in the May 4 Return Strong Virtual Job Fair hosted by the Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development (MDHEWD). Nearly 600 job seekers are registered to attend.

The Return Strong Virtual Job Fairs are part of the state’s efforts to help Missourians skill up and get back to work following the economic downturn caused by layoffs from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Job seekers statewide will be able to search job listings, meet with hiring organizations, receive tips for resume writing and job interviews, and learn more about Missouri Job Center services and training opportunities.

In total, 10 virtual job fairs were scheduled for Spring 2021, with four still upcoming. Fairs will take place on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The fair scheduled for May 18 will focus on openings in information technology; the fair scheduled for June 8 will focus on job seekers looking for remote and part-time work; and a June 22 fair will focus on openings in health care. This will mark the fourth event targeted to health care workers.

Interested job seekers can register for the May 4 fair, and any of the other upcoming fairs at returnstrongmo.easyvirtualfair.com. Job seekers should create a profile and upload their resumes so employers can easily reach out after the fairs.

Employers interested in taking part in other upcoming fairs can register and set up their virtual booths for all at returnstrongmo.getyourbooth.com.
