There are many things students can do in high school to prepare for college. Help your students to set goals each year in high school to graduate ready for college and a career. Use Journey to College checklists to help them stay on track.
Encourage students to learn more about what it means to be truly prepared to enter the workforce or attend college after high school. Help to understand the recommended course work and that taking AP or dual credit courses could help to graduate college on time. Help them understand remedial or corequisite courses so they aren't surprised if they have to enroll in those courses before entering credit-bearing courses.
