MDHEWD and the U.S. Department of Education will never initiate a call to you regarding loan forgiveness. To MDHEWD’s knowledge, there is no Missouri Loan Forgiveness program and MDHEWD is not responsible for 3rd party scammers that may choose to call you.
If you would like further information on loan forgiveness programs, you may find it on the Federal Student Aid website or you may call the Federal Information Center at 1 800-433-3243.
If you would like to report suspicious activity, please feel free to report it to the three entities below. Again, MDHEWD is not responsible for these calls:
