FAFSA Frenzy Logo

FAFSA Frenzy helps thousands of Missouri students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid every year. The FAFSA is the primary form used by federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs in determining an individual's eligibility for grants, loans, work-study, and scholarships.

Host a FAFSA Frenzy

Register now to host a FAFSA Frenzy during the 2022-23 academic year in order to help students and their families complete the 2023-24 FAFSA. FAFSA Frenzy activities should generally be conducted between Oct. 1, 2022, and Jan. 31, 2023. Please register your event at least three weeks in advance to ensure it is added to our website, the FAFSA Frenzy Volunteer Opportunity list, and to allow enough time for materials and promotional items to be shipped.

Missouri's high schools are encouraged to participate in both FAFSA Frenzy and Missouri's FAFSA Completion Project, which allows schools to receive reports showing the students that have completed their FAFSA. FAFSA Frenzy and FAFSA Completion reports work hand-in-hand. High schools can check out the Show-Me FAFSA Challenge to encourage increased FAFSA participation and award scholarships to schools in several categories.

The 2022-23 Journey to College Site Coordinator Resource Manual includes suggested activities, examples, checklists, social media templates and promotional items to help you host a successful event.

Students attending a FAFSA Frenzy event can register to win a $500 Journey to College Scholarship. The MDHEWD will award 20 scholarships in partnership with the Missouri Scholarship & Loan Foundation and MyScholarship Central.
